The charitable aspects of the Club's activities and funds are managed by the La Grange Kiwanis Charity Board, Inc. The "Charity
Board" is legally separate from the Club and is recognized by the IRS and the Illinois Attorney General as being a charitable organization.
The Charity Board receives the net charitable funds raised by the Club and follows its established procedures in:
1. Donating
funds to charitable organizations serving the La Grange area and serving children such as:

CEP Youth Leadership
Community
Support Services
Helping Hand Rehabilitation Center
Spastic Paralysis Research Foundation of Kiwanis
Elilmination of Iodine Deficiency
Disorder Kiwanis Program
Kiwanis Twin Lake Kamp For Kids
2. Managing and maintaining Kiwanis Park
3. Conducting the application,
selection and funding process for the Schneider, Timke and Powers Scholarships
